Therapy for
Individuals
Does this sound like you:
you have a fear of disappointing others
you have a loud inner critic
you often doubt your decision-making abilities
you feel overwhelmed and burned out from juggling multiple responsibilities
it feels almost impossible to set boundaries and say no
a lifelong history imposter syndrome and the fear of failure
absolute exhaustion from prioritizing others over ourselves
You’re literally describing me! How did you know?
No two people are alike, but we sure do share a lot of similar challenges. After a lifetime of being told by parents, authority figures, and the media what it means to be a good, successful, and likeable from childhood and then later in adulthood, it’s no surprise we’re weighed down with self doubt, unrealistic expectations, and anxiety.
That pressure to fit the mold leads many of us toward this cycle of attempting to reach those expectations, disconnect from our true selves, resentment that we are feeling pressured to fit a certain mold, and then shame that we aren’t “measuring up” to that ideal old. Rinse and repeat. Let’s break that cycle.
The clients I work with often come to therapy dealing with:
life transitions | burnout | relationship struggles | career stress | questioning beliefs | sleep difficulties |feeling unseen| irritability
Why do I feel like this? I’m ready for a change.
You're seeking a shift from the pressure to be perfect to a place of genuine confidence and fulfillment. The truth is, that fulfillment won't come from checking off another task or chasing after the illusion of perfection. It comes from within, from being present in the moment and embracing your imperfections.
In therapy with me, we'll delve into the roots of your anxiety and overwhelm, tracing them back to past experiences and beliefs. Together, we'll develop daily practices to help you navigate tense moments and reprocess those nagging messages of inadequacy. It's time to shed the weight of self-doubt and embrace a life of belonging and freedom.

How long will I need therapy?
The length of therapy varies person to person depending on personal goals, issues faced leading to therapy, and many other personal factors.I often recommend clients begin with weekly sessions before transitioning to bi-weekly when it feels appropriate, monthly, and then as needed.
Does virtual therapy work?
Yes! Virtual therapy can be just as effective as in person therapy. For our busy lifestyles, it may even be the preferred option for many. Virtual therapy allows many to schedule appointments in the midst of their busy schedule, not need to add in drive time, and even attend sessions in the comfort of their own home!
How can I prepare for my first session?
Although I first want to say there’s nothing you need to do to prepare, I understand the temptation to want to feel the most prepared. Here are a few tips that can help:-Write down any topics or questions you really want to discuss so you won’t forget.
-Make sure you have a good internet connection, plug in your device if you need, and get comfy. You may even want to grab a cozy drink and a blanket!
-Be honest, open, and remember that I am here to support you. Not to judge.
